I chose UNLV because it was close to home and it was the most affordable for me. Little did I know that I would enjoy being at UNLV way more than I thought.

I believe that the best study spot is the Lied Library. It is a place where I can hang out with my friends while getting some studying done with them.  

Getting involved on campus is important because that is where you can start networking and making new friendships. I am currently in a sorority called Sigma Theta Psi and I feel like that is where I have made lifelong friends. It has also been a great networking opportunity for me.

I chose UNLV because it was close to home. But ultimately UNLV was able to provide me with an amazing opportunity to attend school without having a mountain of student loans. UNLV's diversity was also very attractive while scouting colleges.

The best study spot on campus is the 5th floor of Lied Library. The natural light and views you get are fantastic!

One of my favorite things to do on campus is to attend the many events over the course of the semester. These events help you get involved and be surrounded by others who are also looking for that genuine college experience. 

I decided to attend UNLV because the Hospitality Program ranks #1 in the nation and #2 in the world! 

While on campus I like to drink coffee from Rebel Grounds and study with friends!

What would you want a prospective student to know before coming on a tour with you?

I chose UNLV not only because it was close to home but also for its diverse student population. As someone who is multiracial/multicultural, that is very important to me!

Getting involved during UNLV's annual Homecoming Week! I love attending the Homecoming Festival for the food, music, and carnival games!

I chose UNLV because it has so many great opportunities for students who are out of state and international students. This will allow me to explore all of my options and pursue all the opportunities that are available on campus. 

Don't ever hesitate to ask any questions and try to learn as much as you can on this trip because our tour guides can be very useful in the future if you ever struggle with anything. 

The best thing that you can do is get involved because it allows you to learn more about yourself and also take advantage of all things that are being offered on campus. It can be from joining a club that gives you a sense of belonging, to joining a club that helps you learn more about major-related job opportunities, scholarships, and so much more!

The amazing Lee Business School. It has been a benefit to be located in Las Vegas for internships and to get involved in campus organizations. UNLV is full of amazing opportunities that can benefit everyone in the long run. 

The stats say it all getting involved helps make the best students but also helps amazing students thrive in academia and in the career field.

Easily the fourth floor on the Hospitality hall is an amazing spot to study in and I met a lot of amazing people there.

I grew up in Las Vegas but moved to the midwest for a couple of years before college, and I missed Vegas so much I chose UNLV so I could come back home!

I think the best study spot on campus is the Teacher Development and Resources Library.  It's kind of a hidden gem so there are always spots to sit and it's nice and quiet.  Plus, they have lots of children's books if you're ever feeling nostalgic and want to reread them.

My favorite thing to do on campus is going to the SWRC in the mornings, it's really nice and empty in the early morning so I can go for a swim and have the whole pool to myself.

I chose UNLV because the campus felt like a great place to be. It was the right mix of urban and green and felt like it would provide me with a lot of opportunities. 

My favorite thing to do on campus is explore! There are tons of neat little spots that you can find, and most people don’t take the time to see what there are! You can poke around the different colleges, hang out with the cats, or just find a quiet place to introspect or study. 

I personally chose UNLV due to its Hospitality program rank being #1 best in the nation, and #2 worldwide. As well as the fact that it is occupied by roughly 63% of diverse students.

I chose Las Vegas to be in a cultural hotspot with lots of opportunities!

My favorite thing to do on campus is to get Sushi Burrito at the Student Union with my friends!

Getting involved pushes you to step out of your comfort zones and meet so many people and do things you never thought you’d do!

UNLV was affordable, and it allowed me to explore my future from the comfort of my own home. I am still uncertain about what career path I want to pursue, but being at UNLV has offered so many opportunities for me to meet new people and get involved, and it's a place where I can challenge myself to be better than yesterday.

Keep an open mind and don't be afraid to ask questions! I know college can seem intimidating, but there is so much to learn and explore here at UNLV, so I hope I can make your experience as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Getting involved can be a very meaningful and fulfilling experience. UNLV is a place where so many different people of various backgrounds come together to build an environment that is safe & welcoming for everyone. I’ve always struggled with truly feeling like I belong, but it felt so natural at UNLV to be surrounded by open-minded individuals who share very different passions but are willing to support one another and build connections through involvement.

I chose UNLV because in high school I was able to get my certification in Hospitality Management and UNLV has a top ranking program.

My favorite thing to do on campus is getting lunch with my friends because it is a nice break for all of us and we can spend some time together. 

I think getting involved on campus is important because you meet and make connections with others.
