The Accessibility Resources Team, UNLV Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR), provides a number of different types of assistance for faculty and staff, to help ensure the digital materials they produce are accessible by everyone, regardless of disability status.

The centerpiece of the services we provide is our Foundations of Accessibility (FOA) training course. It gives participants a general understanding of what accessibility is, why it is important, and how to begin implementing it on a small scale. The six-hour course can be taken in a single day, or segmented format.

You must complete the FOA to access the other services we offer. These include: assisting instructors and remediating course content for accessibility; providing provisional support faculty and staff regarding questions about accessibility; hosting open labs for those desiring deeper consultation about their concerns.

Please find our training calendar below. Let us know if you have questions or concerns. We look forward to working with you.
