Assignment of security access to MyUNLV may only take place after your NSHE ID has been created in the system. The MyUNLV training and security teams do not create NSHE IDs for new students, staff or faculty/instructors.
- Student NSHE IDs are created through an automated process once your application is submitted to UNLV. Your NSHE ID will be sent to the email address you listed on your application.
- Faculty, Instructor, and Staff NSHE IDs are created through an automated data conversion from the HRMS system once your Human Resources paperwork has been processed and completed.
