After graduation and an impressive career on the UNLV Golf Team, Shintaro Ban is polishing his game as an amateur this summer before making the move to go pro. By playing in the U.S. Open as an amateur, he now has a better idea of what’s expected on the tour, and what work he needs to do achieve professional status. Golf Coach Dwaine Knight has no doubt that Ban’s great game, big personality, and impressive work ethic serve him well at the next level.
