Two UNLV students were awarded Barry Goldwater Scholarships, the nation’s premier undergraduate award in STEM. Vesper Evereux, a mechanical engineering major, and Faria Tavacoli, a public health major and member of the Honors College, are among a select group of awardees chosen following nominations by colleges and universities nationwide.
