Two UNLV students, Vesper Evereux and Faria Tavacoli, have been awarded Barry Goldwater Scholarships, the nation's premier undergraduate award in STEM. Evereux, a mechanical engineering major, and Tavacoli, studying public health, were selected from a competitive pool of nominees nationwide, and exemplify UNLV's dedication to fostering a future-forward and robust STEM workforce.
