Breakthrough: UNLV-led Team Finds Clues to Understanding Epilepsy

Brain pattern discoveries could lead to better therapies for people living with epilepsy or anxiety. A team of international researchers, led by UNLV neuroscientist Rochelle Hines, has studied how proteins interact to control the firing of brain cells. The study has been published in Nature Communications and may eventually lead to ways to prevent or control seizures.
