This free software is suitable for those who develop webpages and cgi scripts with software applications that don't support secure FTP or Telnet. SSH provides a terminal window interface for editing files directly on the server. Secure FTP enables you to publish files to the web server after you have edited them locally on your computer using a text-editing program.
