To apply for an account, choose from the appropriate category below. All accounts are available to the UNLV campus community free of charge.
Academic and Administrative Units
- Apply for a Department Account
Academic and administrative units, campus committees, and non-student organizations can apply for an account on the UNLV Web Server. Accounts must be used for official university purposes.

Student Organizations
- Set Up a Web Portal
Registered student organizations can create and maintain a web portal for their organization. Check the student organization registration page for details.
Individual Accounts
- Apply for a Faculty or Staff Account
Faculty, staff, PTIs, and graduate assistants who need a website for teaching or research purposes can apply for an account on the faculty server. For more information, contact the IT Help Desk at x50777 or ithelp@unlv.edu.
- Apply for a Student Account
Graduate and undergraduate students can apply for an account through the Student Help Desk. Use this account to access computer facilities, store files, and publish webpages.
