  • UNLV Adopt-A-School Program

    The UNLV Adopt-A-School Program reaches out to kids at four Clark County elementary schools and helps them realize that a higher education is attainable.   • UNLV Earns Tree Campus USA Designation from Arbor Day Foundation

    Students, volunteers and members of the Arbor Day Foundation planted more than 50 trees on the UNLV campus on April 28, 2011. Tree Campus USA honors schools for promoting healthy urban forest management. Thank you to all of those who took part in today's event to make our campus even more beautiful.

  • UNLV Engelstad Scholars - Goodie Two Shoes

    The Engelstad Scholars program at UNLV pairs scholarship with community engagement: UNLV students learn to form meaningful ties to the surrounding community through local service organizations. Engelstad Scholars Crystal Martinez, Joe Milukich and Mayara Cueto-Diaz were among the 300 volunteers that ensured more than 2,000 children received a "new pair of shoes and a smile" at the eighth-annual Goodie Two Shoes giveaway in October, 2010.

  • UNLV School of Nursing Students at Opportunity Village

    The UNLV School of Nursing teaches students the importance of community health -- promoting wellness to prevent illness before it starts.   • UNLV Rebel Service Council - DASH (Delivering and Serving Hope)

    Would you give up a meal for someone less fortunate? Through the DASH (Delivering and Serving Hope) program, students in the UNLV Rebel Service Council direct their time, attention and meal credits toward delivering tasty PB&J and needed TLC to the homeless in the Las Vegas Community.
