Rebel Service Council

What is your PASSION?

Rebel Service Council

The Rebel Service Council exists to provide a comprehensive service and service-learning experience for UNLV students. By providing and promoting service oriented and educational activities that allow students to make meaningful community contributions in a safe environment, the Rebel Service Council will allow students to effect change as citizens of socially and civically diverse communities.

Get Involved!

  • Getting involved as a RSC committee member; several committees are actively recruiting members to assist in accomplishing their committee’s purpose; check out our RSC Committee Member Application
  • Through participation in RSC sponsored events which are held throughout the year at different times and places to accommodate student schedules.

The Mission of the Rebel Service Council:

The mission of the Rebel Service Council is to create desired service activities for individuals and organizations at UNLV, while educating the UNLV community about these issues. The Council provides outlets for education, growth, and community improvement through our service learning initiatives.
The Rebel Service Council (RSC) is a service-minded organization that is comprised of committees that focus of specific issue areas of concern to the great Las Vegas and global community, including:

For information about when our events are happening, to get email reminders of upcoming events, and more, check out our calendar.

The RSC consists of Committee Chairs, Issue Coordinators and Committee Members. See our Organization Chart here! The RSC operates under the auspices of the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, which allows the group to function without the constraints of a typical leadership hierarchy. Members will have roles to play, but no member will have more power or authority than another.

Be sure to check out our upcoming events and check out the UNLV Rebel Yell article about Alternative Spring Break!
