ThinkAbility Fair 2008/Kickoff, Disability Awareness Month
October 8th, 10am-2pm, Pida Plaza
Community members have the opportunity to provide information on various disabilities and the resources available. Participants can solicit information from several vendors, non-profits, departments about disabilities.
Guess Who's Gay, GLBT Awareness Month October 9th, 7pm-9pm, Student Union 208A
This educational and interesting event is based on a panel that s comprised of members of the GLBT and heterosexual communities. Participants guess the sexual orientation of each panel members in the beginning, then ask questions after the panel provides the audience with an introduction. The participants guess the sexual orientation once again and then the panel reveals his/her sexual orientation. Afterwards, a discussion is facilitated.
Student of Color Leadership Symposium October 10th, 8am-5pm, Student Union Ballroom and 2nd floor rooms
This is a conference-style symposium that will provide an opportunity for students to come together, network, make connections among the different ethnic groups and gain valuable leadership skills through workshops, activities and speakers.

Native American Potluck, Native American Heritage Month November 6th, 6pm-9pm Student Union 208A
Native American students plan potluck dinner for participants usually work with local Native American community to feed everyone. NASA/AISES select and host guest speaker for this event.
International Education Week November 15-22
International Education Week emphasizes global understanding and international awareness through a variety of social, educational, and service programming.
Sharing the Seasons November 20th, 7pm-9pm Tonopah Residence Hall
Participants learn about cultural and religious celebrations that they may not be familiar with. The following celebrations are normally highlighted at Sharing the Seasons: Christmas (Christianity), Diwali (Indian), Hanukkah (Judaism), Kwanzaa (African American), Eid Al-Adha (Muslim) as well as the winter traditions of the Pueblo, Suquamish and Navaho peoples. Food from a unfamiliar culture is normally served.

International Student Graduation Celebration December 12th 12pm
Recognizes graduating international students and their families and thank them for their contributions to UNLV.
