Campus Advocacy Resource and Empowerment (CARE)
The UNLV CARE Line is dedicated to helping victims, survivors, and secondary victims of sexual assault, domestic and relationship violence, and stalking. The advocates who staff our hotline undergo an intensive 35-hour training as well as continuing education on topics surrounding interpersonal violence.
Trainings are conducted once every semester and consist of topics such as consent, crisis intervention, effective communication, safety planning, and protection orders.
If you are interested in becoming a CARE Line Advocate, please contact Ashlyn Gray at 702-895-0603 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are no longer accepting applications for the Summer 2014 CARE Advocacy Training. All applications submitted after May 23, 2014 will be considered for the Spring 2015 Training.
