Our school is involved in a number of research initiatives aimed at improving services throughout Southern Nevada. In association with the Nevada Children’s Research Institute, we are evaluating the state child welfare system through funding provided by the Nevada Bureau of Legislative Audit.

Our faculty provide research and consultation services in the areas of social welfare policy, child welfare, adult and children’s mental health, substance abuse, and aging. Research grants include funding from the U.S. Children’s Bureau, SAMSHA, Nevada Division of Child and Family Services, and Clark County Department of Family Services.
