Rebel Service Council
Rebel Service Council creates a fun, social atmosphere for students to participate in service projects that benefit our community.
The mission of Rebel Service Council (RSC) is to encourage civic engagement and positive social change by providing and promoting meaningful service opportunities and service-learning experiences for UNLV students, faculty, and staff.
Service projects planned by Rebel Service Council:
- Alternative Spring Break
- Delivering and Serving Hope (DASH)
- Hunger and Homelessness Awareness
- Make a Difference Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
- Special Projects
- Youth
Join Rebel Service Council
There are two ways to become a member:
General Member
Rebel Service Council is free to join and no membership application is required. Interested students can join at any time during the semester. We only ask that you bring your enthusiasm and passion for service. Our meetings are at 6 p.m. Tuesdays on the second floor of the Student Union, Room 208C.
Executive Board Officer
Rebel Service Council is led by the president and eight coordinators who lead the planning of events based on their positions. The executive board is selected through an application and interview process held in March each year. Officers hold their positions from April until May of the next year.
