Join a Service Organization

UNLV has dozens of organizations around campus that are dedicated to addressing the valley’s needs through community service. Here are a few:

  • Rebel Service Council — Rebel Service Council is a group dedicated to addressing the needs of the community through service. We create, plan, and organize events and programs that seek to raise awareness and provide relief for these areas of need.
Meeting Times: Tuesdays at 6p.m. in Student Union 208C
  • Alpha Phi Omega — Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is the largest coed fraternity in the nation and the largest in service. Anyone can join, even those in traditional Greek organizations. Cardinal principles of APO are leadership, friendship, and service. Alpha Phi Omega UNLV officially chartered May 5, 2010, and pledges new members every semester.
  • Circle K International — Circle K International is the largest collegiate community service organization in the world. Clubs can be found in several different countries and across our nation. Our mission is to serve the children of the world while developing our members into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to community service worldwide. We provide constructive opportunities for students to be involved on their campuses and communities through service work to others in need.
Meeting Times: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Student Union 208C
  • Las Vegas Rotaract Club — The Las Vegas Rotaract Club provides our members with frequent opportunities in service, leadership, professional development, and networking. Meetings are typically one Sunday per month.
