Winners of the high school fair may qualify for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) competition. Intel ISEF provides an opportunity for the world's best young scientists to come together to share ideas, showcase cutting-edge science projects, and compete for awards and scholarships.

The Beal Bank USA Southern Nevada Regional Science & Engineering Fair (SNRSEF) is licensed by the rules and governances of Intel ISEF, a program of Science Service in Washington, D.C. The license allows students in the Southern Nevada region who attend public or private schools in Clark, Lincoln, Nye, and Esmeralda counties, and who are home-schooled in this area to have the opportunity to participate in the fair. Affiliation with ISEF requires that high school students (grades 9-12) follow guidelines established by the ISEF.
