Emergency Contacts
If UNLV students and employees suspect a criminal activity has occurred, they should contact UNLV Police Services at 702-895-3668 or dial 3-1-1 from any on-campus phone.
UNLV Police Services is the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over campus. It investigates all reports of criminal activity and works with the appropriate state agencies, such as the District Attorney’s office, to ensure crimes are properly investigated and prosecuted.
UNLV also complies with “The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.” Under this act, UNLV produces and distributes an annual security report containing crime statistics and statements of security policy. In addition to the police, UNLV has multiple support services available to students and employees. Notifying a supervisor, teacher or student counselor of a concern can help individuals involved find the appropriate resources.
