Grants and Funding Resources
Foundation Directory
The foundation directory (online) — The UNLV Library has a subscription to the foundation directory online, which maintains unique databases of information on the nearly 100,000 foundations, corporate donors, and grant-making public charities in the U.S. and 2.1 million of their recent grants. The foundation provides information such as the foundation’s mission, average size, and number of awards. Faculty may access the directory from any on-campus computer through the Journal Articles and Databases tab on the main library web page.
The Illinois Researcher Information Services Database
The Illinois Researcher Information Services database contains information about grants and fellowships for faculty and students. It is available from the Journal Articles and Databases tab at the Libraries’ website.
Subject Liaison
Each college also has a subject liaison librarian available for targeted research. They offer subject-specific reference expertise and instruction sessions on how to use library resources. A full list is available online.
