Animal Care Services
Animal Care Services is responsible for the oversight of all vertebrate animals used in teaching and research at UNLV. Its mission is to facilitate UNLV research and education through the provision of high-quality, ethical, and humane animal care. Administered by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate College, Animal Care Services provides animal care in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The program is fully accredited by the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation for Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC).
