Social/Behavioral IRB
The Social/Behavioral IRB is responsible for reviewing social science and behavioral research involving human subjects.
Some examples of research that may be reviewed by the Social/Behavioral IRB are:
- Surveys
- Observation
- Interviews
- Focus Groups
- Record reviews

Membership on the IRB is an annual appointment by the UNLV Institutional Officer. The Social/Behavioral IRB is composed of faculty affiliated with the social and behavioral sciences at UNLV and representatives from the community.
