Advising
Undergraduates: Registering for the most appropriate classes for your degree goals starts with Academic Advising. Please visit the Academic Advising website for more information.
Graduate/Professional Degrees: Please confer with your Program if you have questions about which classes to register for.
Consider Core Requirements
Undergraduates: There is a specific set of core requirement courses required for all students.
Graduate/Professional Degrees: Please confer with your Program regarding degree requirements
Class Schedule/Course Listings
Classes are grouped together by subject area and are listed alphabetically. View the Class Schedule/Course Listings.
Once you have registered, check your class schedule on a regular basis to see if there have been any changes in your class start times and locations.
Labs, Overlapping Courses, Prerequisites, Corequisites
When registering for classes, keep in mind the following criteria:
- If registering for a course that has a lab or discussion group as a corequisite, you must register for both courses.
- MyUNLV registration will not allow you to register for courses that overlap.
- You are responsible for checking course prerequisites in the catalogs or by clicking on hyperlink for a particular course.
Undergraduates: If the web registration system will not allow you to register because of a prerequisite, you may see the advising office of the department that offers the course to discuss override options.
The web registration system will not allow you to register into a full course. You must visit with the instructor or department offering the course to try to attain permission to enroll the course.
