Research and Teaching at UNLV Series

Archives of events in the Research and Teaching at UNLV series are available on this site one-week after each event for those who would like to reference the session or were unable to attend in person.

Designed to support a strong start to your academic career at UNLV, these sessions offer important advice in a collegial atmosphere. Topics are based on responses to a UNLV faculty survey in spring 2014 and on Tier I research universities’ faculty development programs. Each session provides:

  • Data on the state of the topic at UNLV and on national best practices
  • UNLV experts’ advice in the form of a short presentation or panel
  • Opportunity for questions, discussion, interactions with colleagues
