Project Information - School District Partnership

Through a partnership with the Clark County School District, Project THREAD prepares preservice teachers to effectively use technology in the classroom. Cooperating mentor teachers within the district are supported in their efforts to integrate technology and model effective teaching strategies. This program incorporates:

• Staff development opportunities for field supervisors
• Graduate level courses for cooperating mentor teachers
• Convenient, specialized workshops and in-service education
• One-on-one assistance
• Online community featuring email and discussion boards
• More than 200 educational software titles for check-out at the Curriculum and Materials Library
