Leadership Team

Project THREAD's leadership team oversees the function of the grant and is responsible for implementing the many initiatives designed to make technology a systematic part of the teacher education program at UNLV. The team is comprised of Dr. Neal Strudler, Project Director; Risa Weiss, Project Coordinator; Karen Grove, Technology Integration Specialist; Dr. Christy Falba and Dr. Kendall Hartley, Co-Principle Investigators. Evaluation Team

The Evaluation team for Project THREAD includes Dr. Don Anderson, the Project Evaluator and Dr. Lisa Bendixon, a College of Education faculty member. As evaluators, this team works to survey College of Education faculty and students about their use of technology, as well as analyze the survey results to determine the direct and indirect impact of the grant. Staff

Project THREAD's staff includes a variety of people who fill many different roles. This group completes many of the day-to-day tasks associated with fulfilling the goals of the grant. Jennifer Barton, Assistant Project Coordinator, handles business-related duties such as working with vendors to procure equipment. Leanna Archambault, Educational Technology Specialist, coordinates special projects such as writing and editing grant materials. Project THREAD also has a number of student workers, including two administrative assistants and three technical assistants, who ensure that grant operation runs smoothly. [More...]
