Project THREAD facilitates professional development for faculty through several initiatives, including:

• A mini-grant program that offers faculty a stipend to cover the time to learn technologies
• Workshops that model appropriate teaching strategies and provide the tools and instructional materials necessary to design and implement new course approaches
• Convenient access to equipment throughout the College of Education
• One-on-one assistance and online resources
• Summer Training Institute
• Assistance with incorporation of ISTE-NETS*t standards into teacher education courses
