Inserting a Rollover Image

Once you have created your buttons, you can insert them into your webpage so that when a user "mouses-over" the button, it will change in appearance and when he/she clicks on it, it will take them to a new location.

To Insert a rollover image in Dreamweaver, go to Insert, Interactive Images, and Rollover Image.

The following screen will appear:

Use the Browse Button to find your original image and the rollover image. Then type in the URL, or use the Browse Button to direct where the page should take user when the image is clicked. Click OK to Insert the image. You can preview how the rollover button works by pressing F12.
