COE Technology Resources - UNLV General Technical Support

The Computing Resource Center Help Desk supported by Office of Information Technology, provides:

• A single point of contact for all computer-related support for UNLV faculty and staff. The Help Desk provides, directly or by appropriate referral, the help functions formerly provided by Campus Computing Services, Systems & Applications, and System Computing Services.
  
  
• Technical staff to assist telephone and walk-in customers directly and to take work orders when someone must be dispatched to work on a problem.
  
  
• Help with supported operating systems and supported applications as well as computer hardware. Go to http://crc.unlv.edu and choose Online Resources at the bottom of the page for a list of supported software.
  
  
• Access to service by phone (x0777), fax (x3850), e-mail (crchelp@ccmail.nevada.edu), the web (http://crc.unlv.edu), or drop by (CBC B-113).
  
  
• Hours of operation from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All faculty and staff service requests previously directed to Systems & Applications at x1389 or System Computing Services at x4585 should now be directed to the Computing Resource Center Help Desk at x0777. All students requesting assistance should contact the new Student Help Desk at x0761.

Please be advised that our peak times are between 8:30 - 11:30am and 1:00 - 3:00pm. During peak times our call volumes are greater and callers may encounter a delay before reaching a help desk analyst.

We believe that the Help Desk represents a significant improvement in the services we provide to the campus. We hope that you will find the Help Desk beneficial and easy to use.
