Training Programs: Is this program right for you?
If yes to any of the above, then we can help. Our training programs are based on a practical and fundamental approach to cross-cultural communication. Our goal is to leave you with the general understanding of why and how a culture functions the way it does and how that culture communicates. We deal with general fundamentals as well as specific country profiles. How it works... We come to you. After initial contact, we set up a meeting at your convenience to assess your business or organization's cultural training needs. We offer training to staff and management and can work with human resource departments, when applicable. The length of any training program is variable based on your needs and the amount of time you have. Since this program is grant funded, it is offered free of charge. Communication is as verbal as it is non-verbal. Our training will cover the many facets of communication across cultures. Coping with Culture Shock: Culture shock is experienced when an individual leaves their home country to visit another country—whether the individual is there to conduct business or not—for any amount of time. Reverse culture shock occurs when an individual spends an extended amount of time abroad and returns to their home country. Both are nearly impossible to avoid, but understanding them makes for a much easier transition. Training Benefits: Research reveals that there are several benefits associated with diversity training, which can-
Statistics show that Southern Nevada is an increasingly diverse region in a world with rapidly expanding global markets. Our training is designed to enhance an organization's success in such a dynamic location. |
