Presidential Student Ambassadors
Matini Sinirath
Matini Sinirath is currently an undergraduate student studying hospitality management in the world renowned Harrah College of Hotel Administration. In addition, she is a rebel recruiter at UNLV’s office of admissions. This position entails providing college exposure to students outside of post-secondary education, addressing issues and concerns that arise on campus, and assisting potential students to become future Rebels at our thriving University.
Matini serves as the Mentor Program Liaison for the Hotel College in which hospitality students are paired with an experienced industry leader to gain exposure to the workplace, direct engagement and professional development.
Additionally, Matini is the Vice president of UNLV’s National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH). Her duties include coordinating events and workshops to enhance the members’ professionalism, addressing diversity issues which may arise, exposing challenges within the industry, incorporating community service involvement and developing NSMH members to become the ideal candidates for employment.
Her interests, which include meeting people from diverse backgrounds, learning about cultures and traditions, traveling, attending community events, exploring different types of food, and participating in outdoor activities, strongly reflect her passion for the hospitality industry.
