Presidential Student Ambassadors
Brittany Radke is a rising senior in the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering. She is majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering and minoring in Solar and Renewable Energy. In addition to serving as a Presidential Student Ambassador, she is also a member of the Honors College. Brittany is an active member with the university’s American Society of Civil Engineers, where she is the Mix Design Manager for the concrete canoe team.
This past summer, Brittany participated in the Research Experience for Undergraduates program sponsored by the National Science Foundation at Washington University in St. Louis. This experience allowed her to conduct research in their Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering Department, in addition to traveling to Brazil to learn about biofuel production.
Upon graduation, Brittany hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. In her spare time, Brittany works as a private tutor for high school students and enjoys golfing, shopping, spending time with friends, and concrete.
