Presidential Student Ambassadors
Michael Grema was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Las Vegas at the age of 5 with his family. Grema is a 5th year senior, candidate for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Finance and Management, and a candidate to graduate with university Honors distinction.
Grema is the Student Alumni Association President and TEDxUNLV Organizer on Campus. Grema has served as a founding member of UNLV St. Baldrick’s, the UNLV LEAD Team, and Financial Management Association (FMA). Grema is also involved in other on-campus organizations such as the UNLV American Marketing Association (AMA), UNLV American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), UNLV Paintball Team (Past President and Captain), Ultimate Frisbee, and been both an International and Lee Business School Ambassador.
A former Rebel Recruiter and Orientation leader with UNLV’s Office of Admissions, Michael Grema has actively represented the university throughout his undergraduate career. Grema is a seasoned Presidential Ambassador and has also started his own freelance graphic design business.
In addition to his extracurricular activities, Grema stays active in the beating pulse of the university by serving on volunteer committees. Awarded the Nevada Pride Recognition by Channel 8, Michael is constantly playing a role in shaping events on campus and throughout the community. Grema truly exemplifies the qualities of his millennium scholarship and has redefined what it means to be a Rebel.
Michael is a Presidential Student Ambassador representing his fellow students at UNLV events. He has traveled to London as an International Ambassador with the Nevada Global Business Program and has gained a great deal of knowledge and experience in his time at UNLV.
