Presidential Student Ambassadors
Rebecca Bolen hails from Grand Rapids Michigan, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in History and French Literature and was involved in several on-campus organizations. She moved to Las Vegas in August 2011 to enroll in the History Department Master’s program and work as a Graduate Assistant in that department, a position she has maintained since her arrival. Her focus is on eighteenth-century France. She is the History Department’s representative with the Graduate & Professional Student Association and Activities Committee co-chair for that association. This past summer she worked as both a student worker in the Graduate Commons in Leid Library and as an intern for the Nevada Faculty Alliance.
