Nancy Flagg

Biography
Nancy Flagg assumed her current post in January 2007, but she has been employed in a number of capacities within the university system for the past 30 years. She has served as deputy to the chancellor and deputy to the president as well as director of the UNLV Public Lands Institute. She has received numerous awards and honors over the course of her career, including the inaugural President’s Professional Staff Member of the Year Award in 1992. Flagg has served on the UNLV Annual Giving Council, UNLV Alumni Association Board, and College of Liberal Arts Alumni Board. She also volunteers at community events held by Get Outdoors Nevada and the Don’t Trash Nevada anti-litter campaign. Flagg is a summa cum laude graduate of UNLV, with a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in English.
