Additional Info
My research focuses on mineral chemistry and igneous rock geochemistry to evaluate the mineral characterization, the magmatic evolution, and their correlated tectonic environment. The studying targets include mantle and lower crust xenoliths, intrusive and extrusive silicic rocks from the Western United States, Southeastern Egypt, and Western China. The EMiL lab is equipped with SEM, FESEM, and EPMA to perform mineralogy studies.
