Marcia Clevesy teaches undergraduate coursework on maternal-child health and is working for the Nevada Obtetrical Charity Clinic (NOCC) to care for the underserved obstetrical population.
Clevesy’s graduate research focused on reducing the incidence of recurrent adolescent pregnancy. She has prior experience as an advanced practice nurse (APN) in women’s health at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, where she practiced in a pediatric and adolescent gynecology outpatient clinical setting in addition to managing the Teen Obstetrical Program.
Clevesy is nationally certified as an APN in Women’s Health. She currently serves on the UNLV School of Nursing Student Affairs Council. She is an active member of AWHONN and Sigma Theta Tau.
