Katherine Frank specializes in sexuality, culture, and psychology, and has written on sex work, monogamy, swinging and polyamory, feminism, popular culture, and sexual transgression. A graduate of Duke University (Ph.D., 1999), she is the author of Plays Well in Groups:  A Journey Through the World of Group Sex (Rowman & Littlefield, 2013) and G-Strings and Sympathy: Strip Club Regulars and Male Desire (Duke University Press, 2002), and co-editor of Flesh for Fantasy:  Producing and Consuming Exotic Dance (Seal Press, 2006).  Her articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Archives of Sexual Behavior, Sexualities, Deviant Behavior, Qualitative Inquiry, and Journal of Sex Research.
