Jill Zimbelman previously worked in the area of intellectual property at the Mayo Clinic, a nonprofit worldwide leader in medical care, research, and education. She joined UNLV’s Division of Research and Graduate Studies in May 2012 as the intellectual property coordinator in the newly formed Office of Economic Development. Her responsibilities include legal/economic research; intellectual property portfolio management; construction of legal documents; government, regulatory and compliance reporting; and paralegal/administrative duties. Zimbelman graduated from Winona State University with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources management in 2007. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cardinal Stritch University.
