Born and raised in Hawaii, Jenn found her way to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Pairing her passion for hospitality, event management, and education, she earned a bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. This led to a seven-year run with UNLV’s Student Union & Event Services department, selling and managing many conferences and events for a variety of clients and partners. 

Pursuing opportunities for growth and advancement, Jenn found herself in the private sector representing several international brands including Madame Tussauds, Blue Man Group, and Cirque du Soleil. A couple of highlights includes educational programming for Blue Man Group and a $2M YOY increase in group sales for the Resident Shows Division of Cirque du Soleil. Prior to the COVID slowdown in 2020, she served as Director of Sales for Blue Man Group Las Vegas.

2021 marked Jenn’s return to higher education where she joined the International Center for Gaming Regulation as their Program Manager. She managed the logistics of custom and open enrollment executive education seminars focusing on casino operators, gaming regulators, and suppliers. In 2022, she moved to the Dean's Office for the UNLV College of Education as the Alumni Engagement and Event Manager. Jenn works to support the 23K+ COE alumni across the globe by organizing professional development and networking events and serving as the staff liaison to the Education Alumni Chapter. She also serves as lead for the college's tentpole events including the annual Summit on Nevada Education, annual Ed Expo research forum, and monthly Scholarship in Practice lecture series.

Jenn continues to support lifelong learning by volunteering in a few different capacities for UNLV. Currently, she’s serving as the President for the UNLV College of Hospitality’s Alumni Board of Directors as well as the Faculty & Staff Engagement Committee lead of the Asian Pacific American Faculty Staff Alliance.
