Jeanette Bernard-Snyder has more than 27 years’ experience in research administration. She formerly served as director of Research Services for Loyola University, Chicago, where she was responsible for pre- and post-award services and compliance. She joined UNLV’s Office of Sponsored Programs in November 2006. Her role is to assist faculty in seeking and securing external support and assisting with proposal development. Additionally, she reviews and negotiates grants and contract terms and conditions and prepares subcontracts. She provides training and presentations to faculty and staff as well. She is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators, the Society of Research Administrators, and the National Contract Managers Association.
