Biography

Gene R. Kirschner has been advising at UNLV in the Lee Business School since 1998. He graduated from Seattle University in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in natural science, and earned a master's degree in economics from UNLV in 1981. After earning his degrees, while still working in private industry, Kirschner was a part-time economics instructor at UNLV for 12 years before joining the Lee Business School as a full-time advisor. Notable achievements include Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Somalia 1964-66 and the winner of the most outstanding UNLV Master's Thesis for 1980.
