A native of Las Vegas, Daniel earned both his M.A. and B.A. degrees in communication studies from UNLV. He comes to the Honors College from UNLV’s Office of University Advancement, where he worked with senior staff on key development initiatives. Daniel’s involvement with the Honors College began as a part-time instructor teaching Honors Public Speaking, a position he has held since 2011. In addition to his role as academic advisor, Daniel also serves as the Director of Development for the Honors College where he works with alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations to secure private gifts in support of the college. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, running, playing instruments, but most of all – spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
