Cheryl Olson is the Director of Management and Executive Education at the UNLV International Gaming Institute. In this capacity she is responsible for business development, marketing and program implementation for gaming industry courses, nationally and internationally. This has led her to travel to Europe and South America. Cheryl enjoys experiencing different cultures and this has helped her to develop an understanding of the international markets she serves.

She has 14 years experience in program development and design, instructor development, marketing, needs assessment activities and facilitation of seminars, conferences and custom educational programs. Cheryl is responsible for managing seminars and conferences, including the International Conference on Gambling & Risk Taking. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Nevada, Reno and is currently pursuing her MBA at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands.
