Las Vegas native Annette Mullis joined the School of Nursing as a graduate assistant while earning her Master of Science in Nursing. She became a part-time instructor in 2014 and joined the faculty full time in 2015 as a clinical instructor for undergraduates in geriatrics and the complex care preceptorship. Before coming to UNLV she taught pre-licensure nursing students, developing expertise in debriefing as a simulation and skills lab director. Her bedside practice focused on the adult population in intensive and intermediate care settings.

She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau, National League for Nursing, and the Golden Key honor society; serves as the school’s liaison for the university’s Rebel Veterans program, and recently earned her certified nurse educator designation.

Annette earned her bachelor and master of science degree at UNLV, and strives to help students tailor their learning experiences to maximize success.
