UNLV Debate Team

Cory Anderlohr

Cory Anderlohr, was born and raised in Las Vegas.  He attended Advanced Technologies Academy, and was part of the forensics team for three years. After graduation he joined the Sanford I. Berman Debate forum. During his first semester he pledged for Pi Kappa Alpha, and is now an active member. Cory is currently a communications major, looking to go to law school, and become a civil litigator. Cory advanced to the final round in junior varsity division at the CSU Fullerton and UC Berkeley tournaments.

Anthony Ribaudo

Anthony Ribaudo is a student at UNLV majoring in international business.  In his spare time, Anthony helps out students on the Canyon Springs High School debate team and volunteers as a judge at local debate competitions.  Anthony and his partner were tournament champions in the novice division at UC Berkeley, and Anthony was also crowned the top novice speaker at the tournament.

Travis Cochran

Travis Cochran is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  He started debate as a local student at Green Valley High School, after which we he pursued his interests in the activity by acting as an assistant coach to the debate team at The Meadows School from 2002-2005.  From the time that he left The Meadows School to present, Travis has been the acting Director of Public Relations and Recruiting for the Great Basin Region of American National Insurance Company.  

Michael Eisenstadt

Michael Eisenstadt is an up and coming debater from right here in Las Vegas, NV. He is currently on the top team debating with Ryan Morgan. Michael is the 2007 Nevada State policy debate champion, a two-time state bowl winner, two-time national qualifier, and two-time regional champion.  His philosophy anyone can achieve excellence in debate if they truly work for it. He is currently giving back to the community by coaching Green Valley High School in Henderson, NV, his former high school.
