Welcome to the home page of the Southern Nevada Section (SNS) of the American Chemical Society.  

The ACS is the world's largest scientific organization, representing over 163,000 members worldwide.  The SNS serves Clark and Nye counties in Southern Nevada. There are currently over 200 members of the section, many of whom are retired or work for major employers such the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Desert Research Institute, Pioneer Chemical, Timet, and the Southern Nevada Water Authority.  The SNS is growing and becoming increasingly active.  We sponsor a wide variety of professional, educational, and outreach activities for the benefit of its members and the general public.
