A new school year is upon us and many of the families from our five adopted schools are not able to afford school supplies their children need to begin the school year.
The Rebel Service Council and CSUN student government, in partnership with the United Way of Southern Nevada, will be holding a school supply drive to benefit our five Adopt-A-School partners.
From Aug. 13 through Sept. 13 we will be collecting school supplies campuswide through donation boxes located in the Student Union, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Lied Library, UNLV Bookstore, and in college department offices.
We encourage the UNLV community to donate and help put school supplies in the hands of these deserving students.
Items greatly needed in the schools are:
- Backpacks
- Notebooks
- Pencils/pens
- Erasers
- Markers
- Lined Paper
- Kleenex
- Crayons
- Toiletries
- Binders
- Folders
- Copy paper
- Box Tops for Education
