"Joining the Honors College at UNLV is quite possibly the best decision I have made while attending UNLV. The advisors, the professors and all the staff are simply amazing and are always willing to help you when you need them. You always feel welcome to stop by the Honors College to say hello or talk to a colleague; the atmosphere is very friendly. Being a college within the university, the Honors College has special classes that are fine-tuned towards honors students. The courses and the materials taught in these classes are both challenging and enlightening and the professors that are handpicked for the Honors College are always excited and prepared to teach. Everything from Calculus to Acting, the professors bring their own style of teaching that enhances the experience of the class. There is always something that you will learn from an honors class that you keep with you for the rest of your life. Overall, I recommend everyone to the Honors College that is looking for a better experience in college that they can take with them for the rest of their lives."
