UNLV Leadership Development Academy - Call for Fellows

Academic and administrative faculty are eligible to apply for the Leadership Development Academy. Academic faculty applicants must be tenured and hold at least the rank of associate professor. Faculty-in-Residence applicants must have at least six years of service to UNLV. Administrative faculty applicants must have held the status of administrative faculty for at least two years, and must have at least six years of service to UNLV. Preference will be given to applicants whose curricula vitae or résumés reflect a high level of scholarship and/or strong potential for higher-level leadership.
Submit the following application materials in electronic format to Sandie Gajkowski at email@example.com, by Friday, May 15, 2015. Announcement of the 2015–2017 Leadership Development Academy Fellows will be made by late May.
- Letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor or department chair.
- Résumé or Curriculum vitae.
- Two letters of professional recommendation.
- Personal statement of two to three pages that articulates (a) your vision for the role of universities in communities, (b) what you believe is the greatest challenge facing universities and how UNLV should engage that challenge, and (c) how UNLV should respond specifically to Southern Nevada’s changing economy and demographics.
