UNLV and UNR Announce Partnership to Host Global Gaming Conference

LAS VEGAS — May 2, 2012 — UNLV and the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) announced a partnership to co-produce one of the word’s largest conferences on gambling.
Bill Eadington, professor and director of the UNR Center for the Study of Gambling and Commercial Gaming and Bo Bernhard, professor and executive director of the UNLV International Gaming Institute (IGI) announced the 15th International Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking to be held in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace May 19 – 24, 2013.
It is the first time UNLV and UNR will collaborate in the event. The conference will focus on topics such as online gaming, the future of Las Vegas and casinos in the U.S., gambling in Asia, gambling addiction and new gaming industry technologies.
