Two College of Engineering Faculty Announced as CoRE Fellows

Congratulations are in order for two College of Engineering faculty members who were selected as Fellows of UNLV's Collaborative Research and Education (CoRE) initiative. As CoRE Fellows, Professor Kwang Kim (mechanical engineering) and Professor Kazem Taghva (Computer Science) will work with the campus on forming working groups to advance scholarship and obtain funding for research and education. Additionally, they, along with the six other Fellows representing various areas of campus, will form the CoRE Council that will be tasked with utilizing online tools for collaboration, prioritizing internal resources, working with grant support staff, and further promoting campus discussions.
